ALEXANDER PIKAS – DIRECTOR, EDITOR
Growing up, we all knew someone who was either a technical genius or the most creative and artistic person we’ve ever met. Now imagine someone blessed with a convergence of these talents – that’s Alexander Pikas. Moreover, his humility belies his status as an accomplished director and editor. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism and Advertising Copyrighting, Alex was offered a job by advertising legend Nick Gisonde (responsible for memorable ad campaigns like "Tastes Great/Less Filling" among others). Alex became one of the youngest directors of broadcast for one of DC’s largest and most successful advertising firms, Arnold Advertising. He earned 18 Addys in 3 years, working with a list of clients including, the American Red Cross, Exxon/Mobil, Chevy Chase Bank, and McDonald's. After leaving Arnold, Alex was sought by Fortune 500 companies including AOL and Viacom/MTV for his directorial eye and original ideas. He followed up with directing assignments at PBS, NBC, FOX, Court TV and Discovery Channel. Alex was the creative, directional and editorial force behind our Saladworks commercial campaign. The trailer for his hit film COPLEY can be seen on his website at www.pikasfilm.com.

IAN BURKA - FILMMAKER / VIDEO JOURNALIST
Video production and filmmaking have entered a new age. Unlike the previous generation of professionals who were trained to do one job, i.e. cameraman or producer, Ian has grown to have command of the media he works with: film, video, and digital media. That means an ability to shoot, edit, produce and write. The Rider University graduate joined us fresh off of the red carpet where he worked at the Cannes Film Festival following internships at USA Network and Sovereign Bank Arena. We love Ian because he fits the Mattmar mold of combining humility along with confidence, intelligence and creativity. His editing on the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation "It Happened in Seconds" earned a 2011 Telly Award.
